Build Our Future Together The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings (e.g., academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity‑driven performance. This role involves developing and executing account strategies to grow market share, building relationships with clinicians, nurses, and patient advocacy groups, and collaborating with cross‑functional partners (e.g., Reimbursement and Access, Regional Science Managers) to address customer needs and market dynamics. The MS also supports sales success through participation in congresses, regional meetings, and other industry events. When & Where Field Based Location: Buffalo (Metro), NY Discover Your Role Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share, and meet revenue goals. Partner with multiple stakeholders – Reimbursement and Access specialists and others – to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives. Develop strong working relationships with customers, internal collaboration colleagues, clinics, physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and other key health‑care providers. Conduct rare neurology‑specific market profiling activities to ensure deep understanding of regional and local health‑care delivery, influencers, and payer systems. Apply deep knowledge of customers and markets (prescribers, HCPs, institutions, organizations). Use strategic account selling and management skills to develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans. Consistently emphasize total account coverage, ensuring all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available Regeneron products. Develop strategy and execute tactics within key accounts to establish, generate, and expand market share. Proactively identify business opportunities and lead coordination of effort by the account team, supporting contracting pull‑through. Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and proactive gathering of information from stakeholders. This Role Requires Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus. Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products; launch experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a concentration in Neurology. Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments. Results‑oriented with a proven track record of success with product launches. Strong account management experience with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills. Current account management experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks. Strong understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current Neurology marketplace.
