Credit Analyst
A community bank in Clinton is adding a Credit Analyst to support its lenders across Clinton County and the river corridor in eastern Iowa. You'll partner closely with loan officers on commercial, ag, and real estate requests, with a clear path into lending or senior credit.
Responsibilities:
- Spread statements and returns and write clear, complete credit memos
- Risk-rate commercial and ag lines and refresh ratings as conditions change
- Sit with lenders on new deals and renewals from start to finish
- Coach newer analysts on spreads, memos, and bank standards
- Build month-end and regulatory reporting packages on schedule
- Back loan review and help keep credits inside policy and regulation
Qualifications:
- Finance, Accounting, or related bachelor's degree
- One or more years as a bank credit analyst preferred
- Sharp Excel, numbers, and written analysis skills
- Careful with detail and reliable against deadlines
- Wants a path into lending or a senior credit seat
