Registered Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview: Responsible for conducting patient assessments, delivering respiratory care procedures, and managing critical care protocols in adult care settings. Includes performing blood gas analysis, maintaining equipment, and educating patients. Qualifications: Must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and be credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Must be licensed by the State of Georgia. Certifications & Experience: Current BCLS and ACLS certifications required. Active practice and competency maintenance are essential. One year of professional respiratory experience is preferred but not mandatory. Key Skills: Strong clinical assessment, technical proficiency, patient education, equipment management, and adherence to safety protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
