Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

We are currently seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing high-quality patient care.

Position Details

Department Overview

The Medical Surgical Unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adult patients and individuals requiring both elective and emergency surgical procedures. Nurses work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Interpret and respond appropriately to cardiac telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurately document patient care using the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Oregon RN License required at the time of submission.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification required.
• Recent EPIC EMR experience required.
• Telemetry monitoring experience required.
