This role requires a strategic design professional who can understand business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints to create intuitive, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and vendors to design responsive applications, improve user journeys, and establish enterprise design standards. This individual will help shape the overall user experience strategy while maintaining consistency through a robust design system and component library. Key Responsibilities Lead UX and UI design efforts for enterprise applications and digital solutions. Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, and journey maps. Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences across web and mobile platforms. Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability studies, and feedback sessions. Translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences and interface designs. Refine, maintain, and expand the enterprise design system and reusable component library. Collaborate with business analysts, product teams, developers, and leadership throughout the product lifecycle. Evaluate and enhance vendor-delivered designs and recommend improvements. Facilitate design workshops and design-thinking sessions. Develop product requirements and user-centered design recommendations. Create documentation, design specifications, and implementation guidance for development teams. Ensure consistency across applications through adherence to UX standards and best practices. Support accessibility, usability, and responsive design initiatives. Present concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to stakeholders and executive audiences. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Systems, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of UI/UX design experience supporting enterprise applications. Experience creating: Wireframes Mockups Prototypes User Flows Journey Maps Design Specifications Strong experience conducting user research and usability testing. Experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles. Experience developing and maintaining design systems and component libraries. Knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting government or public-sector projects. Experience working in Agile product development environments. Experience evaluating vendor-developed applications and designs. Experience with enterprise application modernization initiatives. Experience with design-thinking methodologies.
