Job Description We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for preparing and applying paint to interior and exterior surfaces, delivering high-quality finishes that align with company standards and are completed within established timelines. Responsibilities: Complete painting work orders within designated timelines, including apartment turnovers Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and repairing drywall or surface imperfections Ensure all necessary repairs to drywall, doors, frames, and related hardware are completed prior to painting; coordinate with vendors as needed Paint interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and common areas in accordance with company standards Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality finishes that meet safety and performance standards Maintain tools, equipment, and clean, safe work areas at all times Document completed work and materials used as directed Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs Travel between multiple properties as needed Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years of professional painting experience (residential or multi-family) - Preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Preferred Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting methods Familiarity with painting tools, sprayers, rollers, and related equipment Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Willingness to learn new trades and become cross trained when needed Ability to manage time effectively and meet turnover deadlines Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently High school diploma or equivalent required Additional Information Location: Waikiki, HI Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm; on call as needed) The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
