• Design aluminum canopy structures for building entrances, ramps, and walkways
• Produce permit drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Develop structural layouts including posts, beams, connections, and anchor points
• Prepare drawings for engineering review and PE stamping
• Coordinate with sales, project managers, and installers to ensure designs are practical for fabrication and installation
• Review architectural plans and site measurements
• Create fabrication drawings for shop production
• Assist with material takeoffs and basic structural calculations as needed
