Your Mission on the Team You will play a pivotal role in advancing a novel approach to LEO broadband satellite communications by developing and deploying innovative, high‑performance flight hardware for the Meridian Space constellation. As part of a small team tackling ambitious challenges, you’ll take full ownership of the end‑to‑end success of your hardware in orbit – driving every aspect of development, from design to fully‑integrated, space‑ready systems. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or other relevant field Ability to work autonomously in a demanding startup environment Schematic capture and PCB layout using EDA tools 1+ years of designing and delivering hardware Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience designing and developing avionics for space applications Experience with embedded software and firmware development Experience using scripts to automate component placement and routing on PCBs Experience implementing DC-DC power converters (switching, linear, low noise, low ripple) Experience implementing microwave RF systems 2+ years of experience in full life‑cycle hardware development, from concept through production 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing boards using FPGAs, MCUs, ethernet, I2C, SPI, ADCs, and DACs 2+ years of hands‑on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics SpinLaunch is required by the U.S. Government to comply with various space technology export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
