Used Car Reconditioning Technician

Overview The Dewey Auto Outlet, part of the Ken Garff Automotive Group, is hiring a Used Car Reconditioning Technician to help transform used vehicles to meet dealership, state, and factory standards while meeting customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders in accordance with dealership, state, and factory standards. Diagnose and repair vehicles to address customers’ primary concerns and achieve ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations. Conduct the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection, including video, on every vehicle; notify Service Advisor immediately if additional recommendations or time is needed. Utilize and master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and time keeping. Complete required training as assigned. Maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace and in all customer vehicles. Qualifications Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience. ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications (highly preferred). High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record. Benefits Competitive compensation and 401k with company match.
