Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialization in Critical Care to join our team on a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role requires a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care, ensuring quality and safety in line with unit standards. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse

• Obtain and record initial assessments, establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established time frames.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and modify plans as needed.
• Participate in patient and significant other's health education and discharge planning.
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate the plan of care and perform various Point-of-Care testing procedures.
• Coordinate team assignments and delegate appropriately to ensure completion of patient care support activities.
• Utilize appropriate communication strategies and the chain of command for resolving issues.
• Participate in orientation of new staff/students and function as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff.
• Promote a positive work environment through professional, supportive attitudes and collaboration to achieve unit goals.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC Certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served.
• Clear communication skills appropriate to developmental age of the patient.
