Senior Network Engineer

Responsibilities Design, implement, and support core, aggregation, and access IP network infrastructure Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS as applicable) Ensure network performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability across the ISP footprint Lead network upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh initiatives Monitor and resolve complex network issues, providing Tier III escalation support Collaborate with NOC, engineering, and operations teams to improve network stability and processes Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and best practices Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and architectures to support network growth Participate in capacity planning and long-term network strategy Required Skills 5+ years of network engineering experience in an ISP, telecom, or service provider environment Strong hands‑on experience with IP routing and switching in production networks Deep knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF (MPLS a plus) Experience supporting and troubleshooting large‑scale, high‑availability networks Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable network infrastructure Familiarity with network monitoring, performance analysis, and fault management tools Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment and handling escalations Strong documentation, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills If you're interested in this position, please apply with your updated resume! #J-18808-Ljbffr Hamilton Barnes ?
