Logistics Analyst
$112k - $149kAnduril Industries
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Mission Readiness team keeps Anduril systems ready to fight. We build the sustainment backbone behind fielded products — the technical data, provisioning, training, support equipment, and field support concepts that determine whether a system stays mission capable once it leaves our factory. Working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and program management, the Mission Readiness team turns development hardware into products the force can actually operate, maintain, and sustain.ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to build the supply support, support equipment, and packaging data for our air and missile defense products being developed for our service customer. Reporting to the Logistics Program Manager, you will produce the logistics product data across three Integrated Product Support elements — Supply Support, Support Equipment, and Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) — building the provisioning data, support equipment data, and ammunition lifecycle documentation that allow this missile to be fielded. You will start from an empty database at contract award and build toward a production-ready logistics baseline over the development effort. This is a data and analysis role. You will spend your time in the government’s logistics modeling and Logistics Product Data tools, working closely with design engineering to pull the data you need, with Product Support Engineering to consume their reliability and maintenance analyses, and with test to prove the baseline holds up against real hardware. You are the person who turns engineering outputs into the datasets and deliverables the customer will use to procure and support the system. This role is in-person at one of our office locations and requires periodic domestic travel (up to 25%) to test sites, government facilities, and supplier locations.WHAT YOU’LL DO
This role produces the logistics product data and deliverables across three IPS elements: Supply Support, Support Equipment, and PHS&T. The Logistics Program Manager retains element accountability and the customer relationship. Supply Support Build the logistics data baseline. Develop and maintain the Logistics Management Information / Logistics Product Data database per GEIA-STD-0007 — provisioning data, parts cataloging, sparing recommendations, and packaging data. This is the dataset the Army will eventually use to procure and support the system, and you are the analyst building it. Catalog the hardware. Establish and maintain National Stock Number, CAGE code, and part number structures; build and maintain provisioning parts lists and the supporting technical documentation. Compute the sparing position. Produce initial outfitting and sustainment spares computations, forward-positioned stock quantities, reorder points, and demand forecasts against reliability data and actual field consumption. Bring the recommendation and the assumptions behind it to the Logistics Program Manager, who sets the approved levels and reorder policy. Turn failure data into provisioning updates. Work failure reporting and corrective action outputs into provisioning and sparing data. Flag high-failure components, recommend corrective logistics actions, and keep the provisioning baseline current as the design and test results evolve. Support Equipment Build the support equipment data. Develop the support equipment recommendation data and the special tools baseline, and document the test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment and calibration requirements identified by Product Support Engineering’s maintenance task and level of repair analyses. Where a support requirement could be engineered out rather than supported, flag it to Product Support Engineering and design engineering. Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation Develop packaging, marking, and transportability data. Produce packaging data and special packaging instructions per MIL-STD-2073-1, marking per MIL-STD-129, and transportability documentation per MIL-STD-1366. Support container qualification and Performance Oriented Packaging certification, and support hazard classification submittals. Develop ammunition lifecycle documentation. Characterize shelf life and storage conditions; document handling, transportation, and storage constraints; compile surveillance and periodic inspection requirements; address demilitarization and disposal. Prepare ammunition data cards for missile deliveries. Across all three elements Perform the analysis in the customer’s tools. Build models and generate customer reports using industry and government logistics software — Tempo (spares analysis) and SlicWave and Power Log-J (Logistics Product Data and supportability analysis), or equivalent. You are expected to become the program’s hands‑on expert in this toolset, and to work fluently with the outputs of the level of repair and reliability analyses that Product Support Engineering produces in COMPASS, Relyence, or equivalent tools. Produce contract deliverables. Author the assigned logistics deliverables for your three elements against government Data Item Descriptions on contractual due dates tied to design reviews. Prepare the content and supporting rationale that the Logistics Program Manager takes to the customer at each review, and draft the responses to government comments for the Logistics Program Manager’s disposition. Support test and demonstration events. Contribute to logistics demonstration planning and execution, verifying that the specified tools, support equipment, and packaging are adequate against real hardware. Fold the findings back into the data. Support the production transition. Partner with Product Support Engineering, Technical Publications, Packaging and Transportation, and Training to mature the support model behind a fielded munition, and help prepare the provisioning and packaging baseline for handoff as the program moves toward low‑rate production.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related technical field (equivalent military logistics experience may be substituted in lieu of education). 3+ years of product support, integrated logistics support, or sustainment experience in a military and/or defense industry environment. Working knowledge of DoD Integrated Product Support and the twelve IPS elements, with hands‑on depth in supply support, support equipment, and PHS&T. Experience developing government logistics deliverables against Data Item Descriptions and CDRLs. Experience with provisioning and cataloging: National Stock Number, CAGE code, part number structures, and provisioning parts lists. Hands‑on experience with at least one logistics modeling or Logistics Product Data application — for example Power Log-J, SlicWave, Tempo, COMPASS, or Relyence — and the demonstrated ability to learn the rest. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, and bills of material, and to work with design engineers to extract the logistics data you need. Clear, direct technical writing. This role produces formal documentation that a government customer reviews line by line. Comfortable working independently on assigned deliverables in a fast‑moving program environment. Able to travel up to 25% domestically. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export‑controlled information or facilities.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Direct experience with munitions, missiles, rockets, or energetic materials sustainment. Experience preparing ammunition lifecycle documentation and supporting hazard classification and storage planning. Working familiarity with the standards governing this role’s scope — GEIA-STD-0007 (Logistics Product Data), MIL-STD-2073-1 (military packaging), MIL-STD-129 (marking), MIL-STD-1366 (transportability), and MIL-STD-130 (item identification and IUID). Experience with logistics management information data products or government logistics information systems. Experience supporting a logistics demonstration, configuration audit, or first article inspection. Military background in an ordnance, ammunition, explosive ordnance disposal, or logistics role. Experience supporting a prototype‑to‑production transition. Familiarity with how FMECA, level of repair analysis, maintenance task analysis, and reliability‑centered maintenance outputs drive provisioning, support equipment, and packaging decisions. This role consumes those analyses; Product Support Engineering produces them. US Salary Range$112,000—$149,000 USD
