We are seeking passionate and skilled Special Education Teachers for three full-time contract roles, each designed to make a meaningful impact on young learners within supportive school settings. These positions are available immediately and extend through the end of the school year.

Open roles include:

• High School Living and Learning classroom supporting a caseload of 17 students.
• 4th and 5th grade resource classroom, teaching English Language Arts and Math to students in need of additional guidance.
• Kindergarten class with a diverse group of students, including mixed populations and varying disabilities.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• LBS1 endorsement (required for all positions)
• Experience and passion for working with students with disabilities across a range of ages and settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to create supportive, inclusive learning environments tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Flexibility to adapt to changing classroom situations and diverse learner profiles

Key responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction and adapt curriculum to promote student growth and achievement
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and additional support staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
