As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.40 / Hour

DayTimeSun12:00 PM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or store personnel by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stockroom-adjacent areas, common areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related incidents according to site guidelines.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with crowd flow during busy shopping periods, and provide directions or general assistance to guests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
