Job Description

Workify Staffing is seeking experienced Structural Welders for a long-term project in Ohio. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for steady work, competitive pay, and daily per diem.

Position Overview:

Structural Welders will perform welding and fabrication work on structural steel while following project specifications, drawings, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

Perform structural steel welding and fabrication
Weld in multiple positions as required
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
Perform fit-up and layout as needed
Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
Follow all project and jobsite safety requirements
Work efficiently as part of a construction crew

Qualifications:

Previous structural welding experience required
Strong knowledge of structural steel welding
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Comfortable completing a weld test if required
Must have appropriate welding PPE and tools
Must be dependable and able to commit to the full 6 to 8 month project

Compensation:

Up to $35/hour DOE
$178/day per diem
Long-term 6 to 8 month project
Expected to start in approximately 2 weeks
