Join a dynamic trauma surgery team in an inpatient and outpatient setting in Richland, WA. This locum tenens position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide acute and trauma care with night shifts available on a long-term basis through the summer of 2027. Consistent providers are needed to cover approximately 15 shifts per month, primarily focused on night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide acute care and trauma surgery
• Perform general surgeries such as appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties
• Manage ventilation and perform procedures like chest tube insertion and central line insertion

Qualifications

• Board Certified in General Surgery with trauma experience
• Active WA license or eligibility through IMLC
• ACLS and ATLS certifications required
• Experience in laparoscopic surgery preferred

Working Hours

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Must commit to at least 15 shifts per month

Skills

• Strong surgical skills, particularly in trauma and acute care
• Proficient in ventilation management, central line, and chest tube insertion
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
