You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader.ResponsibilitiesUpdates and maintains contract documents, including document logsReviews, processes and distributes accurate submittals and RFIsParticipates in and writes notes, instructions, or minutes from meetings that clearly communicate discussion agreements, decisions, and actionsParticipates in change review meetings and Project Financial Forecast MeetingsAssists in coordination of trade contractors to meet project scheduleReviews, understands, and follows Baseline requirementsSupports all safety efforts in the field, including: leading safety orientations, conducting and documenting safety inspections, and implementing changes as neededStays informed of all field activitiesTracks work in place and productivityContributes to daily reports and documentationParticipates in quality control activities and ensures trades are adhering to quality practicesEstablishes credibility among trade contractors by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environmentUnderstands Site Services/NEXT 150 as a project resourceParticipates in stretch and flex and daily huddleIncreases understanding of contract documents and scopes of workParticipates in ERGs and Peer Group meetings and eventsQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management0-1 years of experience or internships with a construction organizationOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESSome knowledge of commercial/institutional construction projectKnowledge of ProcoreGood capabilities in Microsoft Office programsStrong technical and communication skills are criticalOSHA 30 hour certification requiredFirst Aid, CPR TrainedFor Ohio, the pay ranges from $63,900-$93,300 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
