As a Security Officer Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Mission Viejo, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will drive and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support access awareness and daily operations while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time / Late Evening Shift

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and access control concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor directions, and support established property rules and after-hours access procedures.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, communicate notable site conditions, and support alarm response, emergency notifications, and/or other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
