Demand Planner

Job Title

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a rolling demand forecast by product, family, and planning horizon.

Analyze customer orders, backlog, historical demand, and forecast changes.

Prepare and support the monthly demand review and S&OP process.

Measure forecast accuracy and bias; identify significant changes and root causes.

Translate system demand into requirements for purchasing and material planning.

Communicate demand changes and risks to Production Planning and Procurement.

Identify shortage, excess, and obsolescence exposure before it affects operations.

Support new-product introductions, phase-outs, and major customer/program changes.

Requests expedite and de-expedite material based on production planned requirements.

Support in daily schedule and shortage/material-readiness reviews.

Hourly Range: $26 to $32. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Compensation packages also include comprehensive benefits, 401K contribution and match, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and more. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
