In this role, you'll provide critical support for landfill inspections, maintenance, and repairs of technical systems at landfill sites. Hours: Monday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (40 hours a week) Work days and times will change weekly and may include working up to a maximum of two Saturdays/month. Work hours will be changed based on daily assignments but will fall between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:30 pm. The schedule is created on a monthly basis for employees outside of work planning purposes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical School diploma or its equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in the related field.
• OR a High School Diploma or its equivalent and three (3) years of experience in the related field.
• A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience working landfill gas collection, destruction systems, and leachate collection systems.
• Working knowledge of pumps and control panels.
• Ability to obtain State of Florida Landfill Operators Certification within six (6) months of hire.

Physical Demands

Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
