UPG Counter Sales Associate

We're looking for a friendly and professional UPG Counter Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will be the face of our organization, delivering exceptional customer service while processing sales transactions and providing product expertise to our valued customers. You will work in a fast-paced counter environment, managing customer interactions with efficiency and professionalism while maintaining a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

Your tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while maintaining efficient workflow and attention to detail
• Providing knowledgeable product recommendations and assistance to customers at the counter, identifying their needs and suggesting relevant solutions
• Handling cash payments, card transactions, and other payment methods with accuracy and precision
• Maintaining organized inventory displays and assisting with stock management as needed to ensure product availability
• Answering customer inquiries professionally and resolving concerns with a customer-focused and empathetic approach
• Building positive customer relationships through friendly, courteous, and inclusive interactions
• Supporting the sales team by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant products to drive sales goals
• Ensuring the counter area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
• Following company policies and procedures consistently while maintaining professional standards
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues and working together toward shared objectives
• Demonstrating resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and customer demands

Your profile

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven customer service experience in a retail or counter sales environment
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
• Strong mathematical abilities and cash handling experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and payment handling
• Professional attitude with a customer-focused mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required for the role
• Demonstrated resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing work demands
• Preferred: Previous sales experience or product knowledge in the relevant industry
• Preferred: Bilingual capabilities
• Preferred: Experience with inventory management systems
