Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity awaits those passionate about making a difference in special education. This role spans the full academic year, from August 2026 through June 2027, and is designed for dedicated special education professionals seeking a rewarding, structured position.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues, and support staff
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Implement and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents and school teams
- Establish a positive, structured classroom environment that supports each learner’s growth
- Work closely with general education teachers and other support professionals
- Maintain precise and timely documentation as required by school policies
This assignment offers consistent full-time hours (40 hours, Monday to Friday), ensuring stability and work-life balance throughout the school year.
