Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients, utilizing advanced respiratory equipment and techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for NICU patients.
• Float between departments within the facility, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in care.
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and health regulations.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory care and equipment use.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided accurately in the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current WA state respiratory therapist license, or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU respiratory therapy.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT.
• Competency with advanced NICU respiratory equipment such as Nitric Oxide and High Frequency Ventilators.
• Experience with interpreting arterial blood gases and respiratory diagnostics.
• Preferred experience in Level III or IV NICU and trauma units.
