Role Description The Coach role at KidStrong is a full-time, on-site position based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Coaches lead high-energy classes for children ages 1–11, delivering curriculum-based training that develops physical skills, confidence, and social-emotional resilience. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and setting up the training space, guiding children through structured activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. Coaches regularly communicate with parents or caregivers before and after class, sharing progress updates and reinforcing KidStrong’s philosophy. The role also involves collaborating with team members, participating in ongoing training, and supporting special events, member retention initiatives, and community outreach. Qualifications Experience working with children in coaching, teaching, childcare, youth sports, or related environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage children and families in a positive, professional manner. Ability to lead high-energy group activities, manage classroom dynamics, and maintain a safe training environment. Commitment to child development, with interest in physical fitness, social-emotional learning, or education. Reliable availability for a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed. Ability to stand, move, and demonstrate exercises for extended periods; comfortable working in an active, fast-paced setting. Preferred: prior coaching or teaching certifications, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in youth fitness or developmental programs.
