Forstzweckverband Südeifel

The local communities of Biesdorf, Bollendorf, Enzen, Ferschweiler, Halsdorf, Hommerdingen, Kruchten, Nusbaum, Schankweiler and Wallendorf belong to the Forstzweckverband Südeifel.

The special‑purpose association is an employment corporation under public law of the forest‑managing communities.

Scope of employment: Time limit

Full‑time employment with 39 hours per week - Permanent employment relationship

Spatial classification:

• Contiguous cultivation area of around 2,000 ha
• Bollendorf, Wallendorf, Nusbaum area

60% coniferous stock (focus on Douglas fir), 40% other forest stock

Specialist area of responsibility:

• Establishment and regeneration of forest stands
• Cultivated and young forest management
• General patrol work (nature conservation, traffic safety, keeping hiking trails clear, maintenance of recreational facilities)

Professional profile (vocational training):

• Completed training as a forester.
• Practical work experience is desirable.

Personality:

• Independence, sense of responsibility.
• Ability to deal with conflict, reliability and resilience.
• Motivation and flexibility, teamwork and communication skills.

Payment:

• According to the district collective agreement for municipal employees in forestry work (BezTV‑W RP) according to pay group 5.
• We grant an additional labour market bonus of up to 20%.
• Annual special payment and performance‑related one‑off payment.
