Associate Director, Patient Access

Associate Director role supporting patient access initiatives at a pharmaceutical company. Responsible for developing and managing reimbursement support hub programs, vendor relationships, and patient access solutions across specialty medications.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of existing patient support hubs including vendor relationships and budgets
- Develop strategic frameworks and project plans for deployment of new access support hubs
- Oversee vendor relationships performing benefits investigations and patient support services
- Collaborate with marketing and legal teams on coupon programs, compliance, and patient assistance initiatives
- Partner with brand teams to align hub programs with patient access objectives and upcoming product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 7 years relevant pharmaceutical or healthcare experience
- At least 3 years in patient access, pricing, reimbursement, or related pharmaceutical marketing support
- Vendor management experience including budgeting, contracting, and operations
- Deep knowledge of company compliance policies and medical/legal review processes
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Understanding of US pharmaceutical market including pharmacy and medical benefits
