Job Description Represent employers and business clients in employment litigation and complex civil litigation matters. Handle cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. Draft and argue dispositive motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies that achieve favorable client outcomes. Defend clients in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, restrictive covenants, wrongful termination, and related employment claims. Manage discovery, including document production, written discovery, and witness preparation. Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences. Build strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas. Contribute to business development and maintain exceptional client service. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active Connecticut Bar admission required. 3+ years of employment litigation experience. Experience handling complex civil litigation matters. Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills. Experience managing cases independently while balancing multiple deadlines. Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills. Trial experience is a plus.
