Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Georgia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).
• Ability to evaluate and treat orthopedics, debility, spinal cord and neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, and cardiac diagnoses.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Preferred: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (inpatient rehabilitation).
• Duration: 17 week travel assignment.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Patient census/volume: average 10–12 patients per therapist per day.
• EMR: Epic.
• Department support: typically three rehab staff working daily with lead therapists on site.
• Orientation: New employee orientation plus 3–5 days departmental orientation (dependent on experience).
• Weekend rotation: available but not required.
• On call: no.
• Holiday expectations: no.
• Floating: not required.
• Scrub color: light grey. Parking: free.
