Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This role ensures equipment is properly aligned, functioning safely, and operating at peak efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and components
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Align, level, and adjust machinery for proper operation
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Operate rigging equipment to move heavy machinery and parts
Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards
Document maintenance and repair work as required

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

Prior millwright or industrial maintenance experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Experience using hand tools, welding equipment, and rigging gear
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
Willingness to work in industrial and outdoor environments
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing or construction setting
Exposure to noise, heavy equipment, and varying temperatures
Requires standing, climbing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
