Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health

Physical Therapist – BJC Home Care (Missouri) Schedule: Full time, Day shift 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Weekend/Holiday rotation). Region: North region. Benefits: Mileage reimbursement; $2,500 sign‑on bonus. Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities to home care or home health patients according to physician orders in the home environment including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation and instruction/supervision of physical therapy practice. Responsibilities Instructs and assists patients to perform various physical activities and use assistive and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses. Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures. Re‑evaluates patients and adapts treatment program accordingly to achieve maximum benefit. Confers with physician and other practitioners to obtain additional information, suggest revisions in treatment plan, and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient care. Evaluates, fits and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommends modifications to orthotist. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Physical Therapy (PT). Experience: No experience required. Supervisor Experience: No experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License; Physical Therapist License.
