Veterinary Hospital Manager

Overview Lower Columbia Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager who is an experienced, confident leader and thrives on building strong relationships and cultivating a supportive, positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate brings exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for developing and empowering team members. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership : Monitor hospital performance, manage budgets, oversee payroll and financial operations, and drive business growth through data-informed decisions. Operational Oversight : Ensure efficient workflow, maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), manage equipment and inventory, and implement hospital policies and procedures. Strategic Direction : Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute long-term goals, expand services, and support referral and business partnerships. Project & Facility Management : Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling, and maintenance while aligning administrative functions with overall hospital objectives. Client & Community Engagement : Oversee marketing strategies, resolve client concerns, enhance client experience, and foster retention and growth. Team Leadership : Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Schedule, Benefits & Compensation Full‑time position; schedule flexibility required based on business needs.
