Security Officer- Part Time & Weekend Opportunities!

Job Description SafeHaven Security Group, LLC provides protection for people and resources for our Ashdown, Arkansas clients. Responsibilities Patrol buildings and perform assigned duties. Deny entry to all unauthorized individuals and escort unauthorized individuals off the property as needed. Respond to incidents and provide accurate documentation, including verbal and written reports of incidents to necessary personnel and/or authorities. Provide entry to authorized individuals. Alert police of any elevated threats that may occur. Protect people, businesses, and property from criminal activity. Investigate reports of suspicious activities or disruptions occurring on property. Serve as a highly visible deterrent. Present a professional appearance and conduct professional interactions with others. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Clean driving record. Current or previous military and/or police experience is appreciated. Successful completion of SafeHaven Security Group, LLC training and testing is mandatory at the time of hire to perform assigned tasks. Additional training may be requested and will need to be completed as specified. Employment is conditional upon a negative drug test and clear background check. Competencies Interpersonal skills: Must deal effectively with members of the public. Vigilance: Must remain alert and attentive for long periods of time. High emotional quotient to read and react to situations and determine the best way to address situations that may arise during their shift. Requirements Private Security Officers must perform their job duties in compliance with state requirements such as additional training and credentialing. High School Diploma/GED. Ability to perform the aforementioned physical tasks. Ability to utilize a high emotional quotient. Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check. State Credentialing Requirements Candidates are required to pass state and FBI background checks. Any felony and most Class A misdemeanors disqualify applicants even if the charge was expunged per state credentialing requirements. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 10-PANEL DRUG SCREENING.
