SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
• Active Pharmacist License required
• Minimum 2 years of Pharmacist experience required
• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and pharmaceutical care
• Ability to work rotating schedules including every other weekend
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Previous hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a contract opportunity in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This role will support daily pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient care services in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and pharmacy guidelines
• Provide medication counseling and pharmaceutical care support to patients and healthcare staff
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards
• Support pharmacy workflow operations and ensure accurate documentation of medication records
