Risk Management Specialist

Job Title: Risk Management Specialist Location: Bristol, TN Salary: $62,471.00 - $93,707.00 / year (Dependent on qualifications) Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt About the Role The City of Bristol, Tennessee is seeking a highly motivated professional to step into the role of Risk Management Specialist. This is a working position responsible for performing day-to-day activities related to the City’s Risk Management Program, including intake, investigation, and resolution of property, liability, and workers' compensation claims. Job Description Investigate and resolve property, liability, and worker's compensation claims. Collaborate with City staff, department heads, outside agencies, and the public. Research complex regulatory issues and recommend strategic courses of action. Job Requirements Experience: 3+ years of proven relevant working experience with Property/Liability coverage, OSHA and Workers' Comp. Education: Associate’s degree in Business, Health, Safety, or related field (Bachelor’s or public sector experience preferred). Industry Flexibility: Experience managing risk in the Construction and Hospitality industries, as well as within Human Resources, will be highly considered. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Credentials: Valid Driver's License; must pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screening.
