Senior Engineering Manager, Surgical Vision Capital Projects

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead capital projects engineering teams across global surgical vision manufacturing sites in Jacksonville, Florida. The role focuses on stewardship of intraocular lens production capacity expansion and new technology implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain capital projects for manufacturing capacity expansion and new product delivery
• Direct engineering team of approximately ten project leads across global manufacturing sites
• Oversee procurement, installation, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment for intraocular lens production
• Manage capital budgets, strategic planning, and project delivery timelines and costs
• Develop team members through performance management, coaching, and talent identification

Requirements

• Engineering leadership experience managing project teams across multiple sites
• Capital project management expertise with budget and cost control responsibility
• Experience partnering with R&D, procurement, quality, and facilities functions
• Track record developing and coaching engineering or technical teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment procurement, installation, and qualification
• Ability to influence cross-functional and multi-site stakeholder groups
