Hiring Bushcraft Instructors in Central PA

Do you feel at home in the woods? Do you know how to start a fire without matches, read the landscape, build shelter, and move confidently through the wild?

We’re looking for someone with survival, bushcraft, or wilderness living skills to mentor middle school students in a hands-on outdoor learning environment.

Our program takes place primarily outdoors, where students learn through real experiences — exploring the forest, developing practical skills, and building confidence in the natural world.

You might be a great fit if you have experience with skills like:
Fire making and campcraft
Bushcraft and tool safety
Shelter building and wilderness living
Navigation and tracking
Foraging or plant knowledge
Wildlife awareness and land stewardship

This role is about more than teaching skills — it’s about mentoring young people , building resilience, encouraging curiosity, and helping students develop respect for nature and their own capabilities.
