Job Summary:

The Cath Lab RN - Cardiology provides specialized nursing care in the cardiovascular catheterization laboratory, supporting both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. The role involves patient management, collaborative teamwork, and procedure preparation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive patient care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, providing continuous updates and facilitating effective communication regarding patient status.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and ensure the readiness of procedure rooms and equipment, maintaining proper calibration and functionality.
  
  
• 
  Manage supplies and inventory to support efficient workflow during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, interpreting results accurately and responding promptly to changes.
  
  
• 
  Document patient conditions thoroughly during all phases of care in the Cardiovascular Lab.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  
  
• 
  Possess an active state Registered Nursing (RN) license.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Have at least one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting.
