Analyst, Security Operations - USA Remote

Danaher seeks a Security Operations Analyst to investigate and respond to security events as a Tier 2 escalation point within a distributed SOC environment. This remote role involves incident investigation, junior analyst mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across subsidiary companies within a large multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security events including phishing, malware, and brand monitoring across complex organization
• Mentor junior analysts and support onboarding of new team members
• Document existing security escalation and investigation procedures; develop new ones as needed
• Support incident response containment activities and lead post-containment remediation
• Build relationships with security and IT teams across multinational corporation

Requirements

• 4+ years security operations center experience responding to alerts and phishing
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, SOAR, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in large, global, complex organizational environments preferred

Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay eligibility
