Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and responsible Food Runner to join our team at Wagyu Factory Mountain View. This role is a key part of our front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Employment Details

• Work Location: 2540 W El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA 94040
• Employment Type: Part-Time, Full-Time
• Wage: Starting at $19.7 per hour plus tips
• Benefits: Employee discount
• Start Date: Upon onboarding completion. All required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately deliver food from the expo counter to the correct table
• Confirm orders with kitchen staff, noting any modifications or special requests
• Communicate with servers to support guest needs and service flow
• Ensure guests have proper tableware and respond to requests promptly
• Assist with table setup, dining area cleanliness, and end-of-shift cleanup
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Follow daily checklists, SOPs, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with teammates and stay calm under pressure

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a large fast-paced restaurant, preferably with Hotpot or Japanese cuisine
• Demonstrates effective oral & written communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Strong coordination, stamina, and multitasking ability
• Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
