Leap Kids Dental is looking for a motivated, friendly Dental Assistant to join our team and help create smiles that last a lifetime! In this role, you'll assist the dentist with patient care, perform clinical and technical procedures under supervision, prepare treatment areas, and document procedures using both electronic and paper records.
Clinical & Patient Care Experience
- Skilled in assisting with procedures and exams, supporting dentists in delivering high-quality care.
- Experienced in preparing treatment areas, managing instruments, and documenting procedures accurately.
- Communicates treatment needs clearly to patients and parents, helping everyone feel comfortable and confident.
Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills
- Loves working with children and creating a fun, friendly, and reassuring environment for young patients.
- Builds trusting, positive relationships with patients and families, making each visit a pleasant experience.
- Strong team player who anticipates provider and team needs, while maintaining a respectful and kind demeanor.
Operational & Technical Skills
- Proficient in daily office workflow, scheduling, and maintaining organized records.
- Comfortable with computers and electronic documentation, learning new systems quickly.
- Detail-oriented and dependable, helping the clinic run smoothly every day.
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant licenses or certificate, new graduates are encouraged to apply
- CPR certification
- Expanded function permit preferred
- 1+ years of Dental Assisting preferred.
