The PositionLet's do something amazing together!The Manager, Sales Operations will play an important role in the commercial success of Arrowhead's leading investigational cardiometabolic medicine — Redemplo (siRNA targeting APOC3). This product has demonstrated compelling clinical data to date, has been approved by the FDA for Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS), and is in late-stage development for other grievous conditions, including Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG). Over time, this role will expand to cover additional indications and products across the Arrowhead portfolio.We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building. This function is still taking shape; you'll have real latitude to define process, systems, and best practice rather than inherit a fully built playbook.In this role, you will support Sales Operations for our field-based teams, reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations and working closely with Sales and Marketing leadership. You'll help translate commercial strategy into concrete plans and goals for the field, support sizing, targeting, and incentive compensation. You’ll also help build and optimize the systems (CRM, data infrastructure) that make field execution possible.ResponsibilitiesField ExcellenceHelp set national and regional sales targets in compliance with regulations and in alignment with forecasts. Help align targeting and call planning with business strategy.Support the implementation and management of sales compensation plans and incentive programs, adjusting as needed to optimize performance, and help automate targeting and incentive processes.Help manage field alignment, workload calculation, and territory mapping, adjusting as needed to optimize performance and collaborating with sales leadership on field resource allocation.Build Infrastructure and Improve ProcessPartner with IT to support management of the data underlying sales and marketing operations including targeting, incentive compensation, KPIs, field sizing, and reporting. Maintain customer master data and optimize data sources for field sales planning.Drive ongoing improvement of the CRM and related sales systems.Support Commercial Operations budget tracking and manage day-to-day vendor coordination and relationships.Manage the field fleet program: vehicle assignments, lease schedules and renewals, fleet vendor relationships, policy compliance, and serve as the field's point of contact for fleet needs.Create InsightsSupport the definition, development, and regular communication of business KPIs and metrics to commercial stakeholders.Partner with commercial leadership and business analytics to track and report on KPIs, turning data into insight that shapes field strategy.RequirementsBachelor's degree in a business-related or life sciences field.Strong understanding of the life sciences industry.5+ years of experience spanning sales, analytics, and sales operationsDemonstrated experience building processes, systems, or infrastructure from the ground up, ideally in ambiguous or fast-changing environments (startup, early-stage commercial launch, new business line, or similar).Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with comfort in data modeling, CRM/BI tools, and translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for commercial leadership.Strong organizational and time management skills; comfortable operating in a matrixed, team-based environment.You may be required to travel for up to 20% of your time.PreferredPharmaceutical or biotech experience strongly preferred, but candidates from other industries (consulting, tech, med device, etc.) with strong analytical and operational rigor are encouraged to apply.Experience in the cardiometabolic disease spaceManagement consulting experienceCalifornia pay range $120,000—$145,000 USDArrowhead provides competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package.
