Role Description The Salesperson at TruAuto is a full‑time, on‑site role based in North Charleston, SC. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the vehicle selection process. The Salesperson will present vehicle features and benefits, coordinate test drives, and explain pricing and financing options in a clear and transparent manner. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following up with leads, and supporting customers through every step of the purchase process. Collaboration with financing and service teams is essential to ensure a positive customer experience and to meet sales goals. Qualifications Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide consultative guidance. Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain vehicle features, pricing, and financing options clearly and professionally. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customers, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate documentation. Basic financial and negotiation skills to discuss payment options, work within customer budgets, and complete sales transactions. Comfort with technology, including dealership systems, CRM tools, and standard office software. Prior experience in retail, automotive sales, or a related customer‑facing role is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation and availability to work full‑time, including evenings and weekends as needed.
