Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Seeking a registered nurse to provide intermediate critical care to patients recovering from surgeries or with acute conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, lab results, and cardiac rhythms. Administer medications, manage complex conditions, and provide post-surgical care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Document all interventions accurately in electronic health records. Follow safety, infection control, and emergency response protocols. Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in quality improvement activities. Support and mentor less experienced staff, ensuring high standards of care. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license; BLS certification. Competency in PCU procedures and patient care. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
