Physical Therapy Assistant

Position Summary Revere Health in St. George is looking for an outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant to join our St. George team. Essential Job Functions The Physical Therapist assistant will perform any or all therapy procedures within the scope of the respective license and training in physical therapy. The assistant follows the treatment plan developed by a physical therapist for each patient, involving physical means such as exercise, massage, heat, and others. The assistant directs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re‑education, gait and functional training, utilizing pulleys, weights, stairs, inclined surfaces, and other therapies. The assistant gives instruction in posture control and therapeutic procedures to be continued by the patient. The assistant evaluates, records, and reports patients’ progress for review by the physical therapist. Qualifications Must have a PTA license as a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant Knowledge of medical terminology Good computer skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Previous experience preferred This is a PRN position Hours Clinic Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm #J-18808-Ljbffr
