Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:30 PM – 8:00 AM) | Monday – Friday | No Major Holidays | No Weekends | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for a diverse adult inpatient and outpatient surgical population across primary and secondary recovery bays
• Collaborate closely with holding unit staff, operating room teams, surgical providers, and anesthesia partners to deliver high-quality patient care
• Monitor and assess patients in the immediate post-operative period, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Communicate and coordinate with Main PACU partners regarding patients requiring admission or transfer to a surgical observation unit
• Float within scope of practice as needed to support facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina or a valid Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for both inpatient and outpatient post-operative populations
• Familiarity working within a Magnet-designated and Joint Commission accredited facility
