Fleet Mechanic
You will service a wide range of equipment, including cars, light and heavy trucks, vans, forklifts, and material-handling vehicles, while ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The position plays a key role in supporting one of North America's largest commercial fleets by keeping equipment reliable, safe, and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Perform independent preventive maintenance and repairs using advanced diagnostic tools and voice-guided preventive maintenance systems.
- Disassemble mechanical and electrical components, repair or replace parts as needed, and reassemble to proper specifications.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulic and air brake systems, driveline components, and emissions/after-treatment systems on Class 68 diesel vehicles.
- Use diagnostic platforms and tools to read, interpret, and apply diagnostic trouble codes to guide repairs.
- Operate shop tools and equipment such as hoists, welders, tire-changing machines, and other small tools safely and correctly.
- Follow established preventive maintenance programs, perform scheduled services, and identify defects or emerging issues.
Work Environment
The role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where you will work around a variety of fleet vehicles and shop equipment. You will use advanced diagnostic tools, voice-guided preventive maintenance systems, hoists, welders, tire-changing machines, and other shop tools as part of your daily work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
