Crescent View West Public Charter School is looking for a passionate individual to join their team. This position offers a range of compensation from $20.60 to $30.90 per hour, depending on education level. The tutor will provide academic support through one-on-one or small group tutoring, helping students to comprehend subject material and successfully complete their courses. This role also involves performing other related school activities to support student engagement and retention.

Requirements/Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of at least two years of college (48 units), or an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited state college. Passing a state or local academic assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction (California Basic Education Skills Test) is also required. Knowledgeable in math and reading teaching techniques is preferred, and bilingual speaking skills are desired. A demonstrated interest in a teaching career is also desired, along with proficiency in basic computer literacy and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Travel is required in performance of job duties.
