Where You’ll Work Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Surgical & Telemetry (Unit A) Unit A is a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Unit A Lexington, NC Our team fosters a collaborative, supportive culture grounded in patient safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care. We’re Looking For Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) What You’ll Do Deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice—monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care to support optimal outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes—promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
