Secures and protects facility in case of fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events.Primary Duties & Responsibilities :Answers alarms and investigates disturbancesEscorts or drives motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protectionInspects assigned area for fire or environmental hazardsMonitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against and maintain security of premisesPatrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gatesResponds to fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous eventsWarns persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehends or evicts violators from premises, using force if necessaryWrites reports of daily activities and irregularitiesFor benefits information, please visit: RequirementsTo ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees, individuals and communities we serve, certain positions within DBHDD may require evaluations, vaccinations, professional licensure and certifications.
