Associate, Portfolio Analytics

Job Summary The Portfolio Analytics team is seeking an Associate to support the day-to-day coordination of third‑party vendor activities, primarily focused on Acuity Analytics. This role requires accurate, documented coordination and continuous improvement of operational processes. Work Arrangement Hybrid: up to 18 remote workdays per quarter, subject to manager approval. Responsibilities Support Vendor Operations – raise issues and risks, monitor work queues, respond to vendor questions, and coordinate vendor‑supported workstreams. Perform Quality Review – conduct random sampling of completed work, identify data anomalies and process inconsistencies, document findings, and support follow‑up activities. Support Process Improvement – identify efficiency opportunities, document new workflows, update operating procedures, and assist onboarding of new vendor‑supported activities. Document & Data Management – track and reconcile documentation, maintain accurate records, and organize financial statement documentation in approved repositories such as SharePoint. Team Support – build familiarity with portfolio analytics processes, provide support across multiple workstreams, and partner with teammates to promote consistent execution. Core Qualifications Curiosity to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Technical Skills Proficiency in reviewing financial documents including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, and investment schedules, preferably with private equity or alternative investment experience. Experience working with platforms such as SharePoint, eFront, S&P Capital IQ, Pitchbook, or comparable systems. Background in private markets, portfolio analytics, or due diligence processes. Exposure to quality control, reconciliation, or data governance concepts. Interest in driving improvement in execution and operational excellence. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience. Over four years of experience in financial services, operations, accounting, data management, or a related field. Preferred: Private equity or alternative investment experience. Salary & Benefits Base salary $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 (USD). The role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and may include eligibility for long‑term reward programs and a comprehensive rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs.
